SubsMaxxers is an independent community for people who pay for multiple AI services and want more practical value from their stack. These rules protect that promise. They are short on purpose. They are enforced as written.
1. Legitimate value only
Subsmaxxing means intentionally maximizing the legitimate value, utility, and outcomes produced by the AI subscriptions you pay for.
You may discuss official reset schedules, observed reset behavior (labeled as observed), plan changes, cost optimization, canceling redundant tools, legitimate promotions, public provider policies, high-value workflows, and responsible usage tracking.
You may not discuss or request credential or account sharing, shared logins, resale or rental of access, access to another member’s subscription, techniques intended to force or bypass limits, trial abuse, payment fraud, or safeguard evasion.
If a tactic only works by cheating the product or the terms, it is not welcome here. Asking is enough.
2. No gray-market access
Do not offer, request, or broker:
- Passwords, session cookies, magic links, or backup codes
- Shared, family, team, or “spare” logins that the provider did not intend for this use
- Account resale, rental, pooling, or “seat lending”
- Private account identifiers shared so someone else can get in
There is no “just this once.”
3. Redact before you post
Strip all of the following from screenshots, logs, and copy-paste:
- Email addresses
- Names that identify a real person or client beyond a first name you chose to use
- Account IDs and user IDs
- Payment information and card fragments
- Invoice and order numbers
- Private workspace, team, or channel names
- API keys, tokens, cookies, and authorization headers
- Organization identifiers
- Confidential prompts, documents, or client work
Unredacted billing or account screenshots will be removed. If you expose a credential, tell a moderator immediately and rotate it at the provider. Do not post the secret again “so staff can see it.”
4. Label your claims
Do not present a rumor as a fact. If you report a reset, limit, price, or plan change, include provider, product, plan, region or account context, date, and a source.
Staff apply one of these labels:
- OFFICIAL — current provider documentation or an in-product notice
- CONFIRMED — independently reproduced by at least two relevant members
- REPORTED — one member’s observation; not yet generalized
- DISPUTED — credible reports conflict
- OUTDATED — superseded or no longer recently verified
An observation is not a universal rule. Limits can vary by plan, account, region, demand, model, feature, interface, or provider experimentation. Differences are investigated before anyone is treated as wrong or dishonest.
5. Disclose money and loyalty
If you are a vendor, employee, contractor, investor, affiliate, or you are about to post a referral or affiliate link, disclose that relationship in the same message, before the pitch.
There is no unsolicited promotion in general chat, introductions, or the forums. Undisclosed commercial posts are removed.
6. Do not impersonate a vendor — or us
You do not speak for OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Microsoft, or any other provider. Neither do we. Official documentation outranks this community when they conflict.
Do not impersonate staff, vendors, or other members. Do not scrape or republish private community content (including screenshots of members, DMs, or unpublished Reset Board rows) without permission.
7. No harassment, no spam
No harassment, bigotry, dogpiles, or targeted ridicule. No raids, invite spam, DM spam, referral spam, or low-effort AI-generated post floods. Critique a product. Do not hunt a person.
8. Stay in the right room
- Getting started → #start-here
- Intros → #introduce-your-stack
- Hallway chat → #general
- Workflows that earned their keep → #wins-and-workflows
- Resets and allowances → reset-watch
- Plan, price, feature, policy changes → plan-change-watch
- Keep / cancel / upgrade decisions → keep-cancel-upgrade
- Which paid tool for this job → best-tool-for-the-job
- Opt-in product research → #product-lab only if you chose that role
Subscription count is not a status symbol. Do not turn this into a spend contest.
9. Independent, not official
SubsMaxxers is not affiliated with any AI provider. Nothing here is a substitute for a provider’s own terms, billing desk, or status page. We can be wrong. We will label uncertainty rather than paper over it.
Enforcement in one line
Warning or removal for sloppy claims and first-time redaction misses. Timeout or ban for sharing access, bypass, fraud, harassment, impersonation, or repeating the same violation.
Vendor and affiliate process
- Disclose the relationship in the first line of your post.
- Do not post unsolicited links in community channels.
- If you have a relevant, non-spammy product update that paid users would actually use, send it to staff via [VERIFY: staff contact or a designated form].
- Staff decide whether it belongs in #announcements, a labeled forum post, or nowhere.
- Referral links, if ever allowed in a specific thread, must be marked. Prefer official pricing or docs URLs.
How to appeal
Email [VERIFY: appeals contact] from the address you can prove owns the Discord account, within 14 days. Do not include passwords or keys. Include your Discord username, the date, and what you think we got wrong. A Founder or Administrator who did not issue the original action will answer.
